Its nice to be nice but how hard is it sometimes?

Earlier today I posted this to Facebook;

How many of us know its sometimes impossible to resist the urge to gossip and b***h on about people?

I'm only recently learning to calm my tongue, because I'm the kind of person (wether you know it or not) knows EVERYONES business or can find out with out a doubt.

I'm learning that its brought me a horrible name sometimes and that's not the person I want to portray.

I'm a nice person, well i think I am and I'm usually told I am.

Its hard to find the boundary between news and gossip yeah?!, I know and the urge is so heavy.

Up until recently I was horrible two faced passing on what is NONE of my business and being all "OMG, yer dress is gorgeous" then going to someone else "omg did you see the sate of her?"

I did it even to my close friends and well when they read this I'll prolly get questioned [ but maturity is owning up to mistakes and taking responsibilities for your actions] .

As my best bud Jesus said " the truth sets you free" and frankly I would rather stop trying to cover up with more lies and be free of it altogether.

You know the average person lies 20x a day? insane right? and they have to back those lies up with three others so the target person will believe!

Oh yeah I did that too.

I'm really shocked at myself, honestly!.In the past month I've grown so much!

I stopped drinking, cut down on swearing (hopefully I stop altogether I hate my foul mouth) etc
You know I secretly 'God Bless' someone if i have nothing nice to say? when i can feel it in my stomach! I swear I do it unconscioncly now!
Or I pray but mostly "god bless" lol
Id get odd stares if I prayed in tongues like, well I do actually, it slips out, its my good word vomit now.

You know the bible mentions gossip? hmm oh yeah God is not stupid!

So eh well lets say i wasn't on the God's path last night when I got FURIOUS at a friend of mine and mouthed off, Pretty bad tbh........Where was my "God bless" eh?
This is what me ould bible says about gossip!

Psalm 34:13

Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking lies.

Psalm 101:5

Whoever slanders his neighbor in secret, him will I put to silence; whoever has haughty eyes and a
proud heart, him will I not endure.

1 Timothy 3:10-11

They must first be tested; and then if there is nothing against them, let them serve as deacons. In the same way, their wives[a] are to be women worthy of respect, not malicious talkers but temperate and trustworthy in everything.

James 3:5-6

The tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

James 4:11

Brothers, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against his brother or judges him speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.

So you get my point......I hold my hands up! and they are black not red!

You know i wont mention names cause if i do I'm going to light a forest up on fire!
But guys I'm sorry and I am trying

I'll post more on my progress.

God Bless:Peace:Love
